Nursing Services

When you need clinical care, our mobile nurses come to your place – your home, work, marae or place of study. Our services are delivered by enrolled and registered nurses from Access and Total Care Health, our specialist nursing division. 

Clinical nursing services, at your place

Our clinical services include:

*  palliative care * wound care – including negative wound pressure therapy and compression bandaging * catheter care * IV treatments * stoma therapy * surgical drains * halo vest/crown management * end of life care * gastro therapies * medication reviews * respite care * complex needs management

Getting access to services 

Services are free if your needs are approved by ACC  or a government agency for funding, or you can pay privately, or a combination of both.   We have a team who can help you find out if you are eligible for funding and how to access it. 

Wound care

Assessment  and management of acute and complex wounds, using the latest products and clinical care.

Palliative care

Palliative and end of life care, delivered with the utmost care and respect for you and your whānau.

Complex care

We have skilled and experienced nursing teams who provide support for people with complex needs, including 24/7 care when needed. 

Clinical services

Catheter management, gastro therapy, stoma therapy, IV therapy, surgical drains, halo traction are some of the services we provide. 

How to get a referral

Ask for a referral to Access from your nurse or GP, Te Whatu Ora | Health New Zealand, ACC or your local Needs Assessment and Service Coordinator (NASC). Or you can refer yourself and we can help you with the next steps.
